Hello to everyone out there, my name’s Harry and for as long as I can remember, I’ve been a health and wellness enthusiast for the better part of a decade.
I started out like most people entering their adulthood: confused, inconsistent energy levels (high on somedays, low on others) and wondering how people enjoyed life. The days seemed long and slow and punctuated with frequent bouts of drowsiness. And the nights were often sleepless and spent watching netflix. I was eager to change myself, since I knew deep down that life (and indeed I) have a lot more to offer this world than I was currently doing. I quickly realized that a lot of it had to do with the eating and lifestyle habits I had built up over the past couple of years. I set about getting my hands on every exercise and diet plan that Google’s search engines turned up.
The searches, purchases, readings went on….
Until I had assembled a hard-drive’s worth of information and had enough material to start my own private e-library.
While I read them and struggled to implement them though, I quickly realized a few more things. Only a few of them were actually effective and that the bulk of them focused on the workout experience being gruelling, making use of the “no pain, no gain” philosophy that many of us have got used to hearing. Eventually, the more I read and implemented the programs, the more I realized that effective weight loss and muscle-building programs all made use of a few basic principles in order to be effective.
But before we even get into what these are, there are 2 things I want you to keep in mind when choosing and diet/exercise plan

Let me explain:
Simple is Better
For most people, this is actually self-explanatory, but with diet and exercise regimens, it becomes even more important. Too many people ignore this and punish themselves with bland, tasteless diets and haphazardly structured, cruel exercise regimens. This results in them crashing and burning after a few weeks of ‘giving it all they got’. If that sounds like you, then take my advice: IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE SO DIFFCICULT J
We learn better when we learn to take a few steps correctly and then build on that. There are countless stories of people who become good at drawing, playing instruments, writing etc who all started out by writing stories in their spare time, scribbling on tissues and spare bits of paper and fooling around on the piano. The reason is gaining mastery over small things builds confidence and is accompanied by a sense of enjoyment. Together, these 2 forces make a better motivator for change than any sense of obligation would. It’s easier for our mind and body to absorb new information in small doses and even more so when one enjoys it.
I really believe that following the bits and pieces of advice that I’ve assembled on this site will make your journey to health and wellness a lot more enjoyable and sustainable. You’ll get a real kick out of the fact that you can now look good in a younger person’s clothes – or none at all. Your friends and family will most likely ask you about the secret behind your new-found fitness and enthusiasm.
But most importantly, you can relax by reminding yourself that whenever summer comes around, you’ll have everything you need to have a great time. A great body and mind, endless physical and mental capacity for just about any activity and a surplus of feel-good energy that’ll probably carry over into the next year.
